Hughes H-4 Hercules

GlassBlast is proud to have supplied a half million pounds of recycled glass for sandblasting a million square feet Hercules Hangar project in Los Angeles, CA. This sandblasting job was completed using GlassBlast fine. The Hangar housed the mammoth airplane built and flown by Howard Hughes. It was called H-4 Hercules but was nicknamed the Spruce Goose. This hangar had a great wood interior in great condition that the new owners wanted to enhance, so they sandblasted with recycled crushed glass. Using a dustless sandblasting system and GlassBlast fine was used for the great finish and price. Using recycled glass for sandblasting is a great alternative for garnet on projects that require attention to detail.
